Bigger disc, wider cut. Check beforehand that the disc you want runs freely under your mower. The images show the sizes to scale.

Frequently asked questions

Will the tuning blade disc fit my robotic mower?

The round mount fits mowers with a round motor mount and 22 mm hole spacing, for example Gardena Sileno City, Sileno Life and Smart Sileno. For Worx Landroid from 2020 (for example M500, M700, M1000) there is the hex mount in the 14.5 cm disc.

For Husqvarna Automower, McCulloch, Flymo, Kress, LandXcape, Ferrex, Scheppach and Einhell, please compare the mount with the reference photos and measure the hole spacing before buying. The quickest way is the compatibility check.

Which disc size should I choose?

With the round mount the discs come in 14.5, 17, 19 and 21 cm diameter. That gives roughly 18, 20, 22 and 24 cm effective cutting width. With the hex mount (Worx Landroid) there is only the 14.5 cm disc, because the disc sits off-centre there.

First measure the cutting width your mower has today. Then check under the housing whether a disc with the effective cutting width you want would run freely there, also at your cutting height.

How do I measure the hole spacing?

On your mower's motor mount, measure the distance from the centre of one fixing hole to the centre of the neighbouring hole. It should be 22 mm. Callipers are most accurate, a ruler is usually fine.

Also check the shape: round motor mount (round mount) or hexagonal shaft (hex mount). Both mounts have 22 mm hole spacing. The compatibility check shows photos of both mounts.

Do I have to remove the blade guard?

On most compatible models, yes: the original blade guard (blade cover) has to be removed, otherwise the disc rubs against it. After mounting, make sure the disc runs freely at your cutting height. On some models the splash guard may need adjusting.

How often should I change the blades?

That depends on lawn size, mowing time and ground conditions. As a guideline, follow what mower manufacturers recommend for their blades: roughly every 6 to 8 weeks during the mowing season. Gravel, stones or sand in the lawn make blades go blunt faster.

Change them at the latest when grass tips look frayed instead of cleanly cut or a blade is damaged, and always replace all blades and screws at the same time so the disc runs evenly. Matching replacement blades including M4 screws are available from us.
