2. Overview
We only process personal data where this is necessary to run this website, process your order and communicate with you. This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising and loads fonts exclusively from our own server. We only load third-party scripts if you expressly activate express payment at checkout (no. 8). A cookie banner is therefore not needed.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA. When a page is requested, Netlify processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable delivery of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Netlify. Transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, otherwise on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
4. Database and file storage
We store orders, withdrawal declarations and the content of this website with Supabase, Inc., USA, on servers in Ireland (EU). Supabase acts as our processor. The safeguards under no. 3 apply to any access from the USA.
5. Orders
For your order we process your name, billing and delivery address, company name if provided, email address, ordered items, payment method and payment status. We use your email address for the order confirmation and notifications about your order, for example about shipping. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (statutory retention obligations).
Before ordering, we ask which robotic mower (brand and model) you own. Providing this is voluntary: you can choose “Prefer not to say” and order just the same. We use this information to check before shipping whether the disc and mount fit your mower and to advise you if we have questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We also evaluate, in aggregated form without reference to individual persons, which models our customers use in order to improve our range (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We notify ourselves of new orders by a push message via the notification service ntfy (ntfy.sh). The message only contains the order number, amount, items and the mower model provided, no names, addresses or email addresses (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Personal code and refer a friend
After receipt of payment you receive a personal discount code linked to your order. When the code is redeemed with an order, we store the redemption together with that order. To grant the reward for referred friends and to exclude orders placed by yourself, we compare the email address and addresses of the order with those of the order the code belongs to. We do not disclose the name or any other data of the referred person to the referring person, or vice versa. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (terms of participation).
7. Reviews and blade reminder
Reviews: if you agree when ordering, we ask you once by email for a review about three weeks after shipping (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you leave a review via the personal link, we store the stars, text, the display name you choose and the link to your order. After checking, we publish the review with display name and date on this website (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We also show reviews from earlier sales via an online marketplace with the name shortened to three letters and without a date (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you would like us to remove your review, a short message is enough.
Blade reminder: if you agree when ordering and click the link in our confirmation email (double opt-in), we remind you by email to fit fresh blades every eight weeks from March to October (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). For this we store your email address, language, the wording and time of your consent and of your confirmation.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, via the link in every email or by writing to info@solutionprint.de. We keep proof of consent for up to three years after withdrawal (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).
8. Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland. We transmit your email address, the order number and the amounts to Stripe. You enter your payment details directly on Stripe's payment page; they are not transmitted to us. If you choose PayPal or Klarna, PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg, or Klarna Bank AB (publ), Stockholm, Sweden, additionally process your data as independent controllers; Klarna may carry out an identity and credit check. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Stripe may transfer data to the USA; the safeguards under no. 3 apply.
Express payment: at checkout you can pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal without typing your details. Only when you click "Load express payment" does your browser load Stripe's script Stripe.js. Stripe then receives technical data such as your IP address and browser information and sets cookies (e.g. "__stripe_mid", "__stripe_sid") to prevent fraud. When you confirm the payment in your wallet, Apple, Google or PayPal transmit your name, delivery address and email address to Stripe and to us; we use these details as described under no. 5. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; storing and reading the cookies is necessary for the payment you requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Without the click, no data is transferred to Stripe.
9. Shipping
For delivery we pass your name and delivery address to Deutsche Post AG or DHL Paket GmbH, Charles-de-Gaulle-Straße 20, 53113 Bonn, Germany (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
10. Sending emails
We send order confirmations and other emails via Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as our processor. Your email address and the content of the email are processed. The safeguards under no. 3 apply.
11. Contact form and contact by email
When you write to us, we process your name, email address, order number if provided and your message in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for questions about an order, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Messages sent via the contact form are forwarded to us by email and are not additionally stored on the website.
12. Withdrawal via the withdrawal function
If you declare a withdrawal using our withdrawal function, we store your details and the time of receipt in order to document, confirm and process the withdrawal (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Section 356a BGB and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
13. Protection against misuse
To protect forms and the visitor statistics against large numbers of automated requests, we briefly store an encrypted value (hash) of your IP address together with the number of requests. The IP address itself is not stored; entries are deleted after one day at the latest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
14. Visitor statistics without cookies
To understand how our website is used, we count page views ourselves: without cookies, without storing anything in your browser and without third-party services. When a page is requested, your browser transmits the requested address, the page you came from (referrer) and the browser identification to our server. From this we only store the address of the page, the language, the rough origin (for example “Google”, “QR code” or the name of the referring website), the device type (phone, tablet or computer) and, when adding to the cart, the item number. We do not store IP addresses or identifiers that would allow visitors to be recognised; no. 13 applies to protection against misuse. If you have enabled “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” in your browser, we do not count you. Entries are deleted after 25 months. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to improve the website and our range.
15. Shopping cart in your browser
We store your shopping cart only in your browser (local storage), not as a cookie and not on our server. This is technically necessary for the function you requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can empty the cart or delete the website data in your browser at any time.
16. Storage period
We store data for as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Order and invoice data are retained in accordance with statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law (up to ten years).
17. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Simply write to us at info@solutionprint.de.
18. Right to lodge a complaint
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Postfach 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf, Germany, www.ldi.nrw.de.
19. Security
The connection to this website is encrypted using TLS. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
20. Changes
We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
