The sizes
- 14.5 cm: approx. 18 cm cutting width, 6 blades
- 17 cm: approx. 20 cm cutting width, 6 or 8 blades
- 19 cm: approx. 22 cm cutting width, 6 or 9 blades
- 21 cm: approx. 24 cm cutting width, 6 or 9 blades
For comparison: according to our measurement, the original disc of the Gardena Sileno City is approx. 14.5 cm with approx. 16 cm cutting width.
Which size fits?
- Bigger means wider: more cutting width means less of a strip at the edge and less trimming.
- Space under the housing: the disc must run freely at the set cutting height. Check this after fitting as described in the installation guide.
- More blades: the premium discs with 8 or 9 blades spread the work over more blades.
What's included
Every disc is available without blades, with pre-fitted blades, or pre-fitted with extra replacement blades. All variants and prices are in the shop. From 2 discs there is a quantity discount, for example for your neighbour.
